Collapse ▲WNC AgOptions anticipates (but cannot yet formally announce) grant opportunities for Watauga and counties South and West of Boone
WNC AgOptions has readied its 2022 grant program, but may not be able to formally launch this cycle until the end of October. In the meantime, potential applicants are encouraged to get in touch with their county agricultural agents to discuss possible farm improvement and crop diversification project ideas and otherwise express interest in applying.
A “sample” application for applicants to begin work on their proposals and further preliminary grant can be accessed on the WNC AgOptions website.
Should the grant cycle be able to launch at the end of October, the Intent to Apply deadline will be November 12 and the application deadline will be December 17, 2021. However, these dates are subject to change based upon the final timing of funding.
