N.C. Cooperative Extension – Madison County Center will host on December 9, 2021, the Annual Landscape/Pesticide Seminar. Speakers will present on a variety of topics beneficial to those in the landscape and nursery business. Pesticide credits and landscape contractor credits will be available for those who need them. We will begin at 8:15 a.m. and conclude at 3:15 p.m.

This workshop will provide landscapers, growers, and turf-care folks the opportunity to get 4 pesticide credits and lots of information about weed control in both ornamentals and turf, disease management in ornamentals, and emerging insects in Western North Carolina. We will also have a refresher in basic pruning techniques.

The 5 hours of Landscape Contractor Credits will be combined with two business classes at the end of the day to allow landscape contractors to obtain all 7 of their required CEUs in one day at one location.

Due to COVID-19 we are not offering our typical lunch option but will have a food ordering option that will be emailed out at a later date to those who register. We have limited space so we prefer to hold the seats open for those needing CEUs.
