Caldwell County 4-H Celebrates the Holiday Season with Festive Activities

(Updated: Nov. 18, 2025, 6:44 a.m.)

Caldwell County 4-H is spreading holiday cheer with a series of festive events this December. The organization is engaging the community through fun activities, including a Christmas Crafts Workshop and participation in the annual Lenoir Light of Nights Christmas Parade.

During the holiday season, Caldwell County 4-H members will have the opportunity to enjoy a drop-in Christmas Crafts Workshop at the Caldwell Extension Office from 1- 4 PM. The event offers a variety of craft stations, such as ornament-making and Grinch-themed crafts, perfect for children and families. Parents can either stay and supervise or drop off their children for an hour or two to complete last-minute Christmas shopping. To participate, families must be enrolled in 4-H Online and register via the provided link to ensure enough supplies are available.

In addition to the crafts event, Caldwell County 4-H will proudly participate in the December 5th Light of Nights Christmas Parade in Lenoir. Members will showcase their 4-H pride by riding in the parade, dressed in green and waving to spectators, spreading holiday joy throughout the community.
