Job Description Under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative, technical and executive assistant functions in the administrative county extension offices. The work is characterized by its variety, complexity, and confidential nature. Employee must exercise considerable tact and courtesy in dealing with the public and has a high level of fiduciary responsibility including confidentiality of all information. The position reports to and serves as an extension of authority at least fifty percent of the time for an executive such as a County Extension Director. The role may also serve other paraprofessional, professional staff members. The position functions as a coach and lead worker and/or supervisor to other office and clerical staff. The employee functions independently and reports to the County Extension Director.
