7 Steps to a Great Thank You Note From MSU Extension
For example, if someone volunteered to help you prepare for a presentation, you could write the following (in bold), using the outline above:
- Dear Mrs. Rodriguez,
- Thank you for teaching me how to give a presentation and listening to me practice.
- I was feeling lost and didn't know where to start before you stepped in to help me.
- I will use this skill again in the future when I present for school projects or probably at work in the future.
- After you helped me, I received a compliment from a friend who watched me give my presentation. He said I spoke with confidence.
- Thank you again for taking time to work with me.
- Sincerely, Joey Clover
