Native Plant Sale

(Updated: Dec. 18, 2024, 9:57 a.m.)
Hello, Friends!

This Saturday (October 5th), our Master Gardeners are hosting a native plant sale, as many of you know! In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Carolina Native Nursery lost everything. Instead of profits, 100% of the proceeds will go to help them rebuild.

Join us in supporting a local nursery that’s been a cornerstone of our native plant community. Every plant you buy makes a difference.

Thank you for your support!
The Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers of Caldwell County are excited to announce their upcoming Native Plant Sale on Saturday, October 5th, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caldwell County Center, 120 Hospital Ave., Lenoir, NC.

This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a wide variety of beautiful, locally grown native plants to enhance your garden and support the local ecosystem. Plus, fall is the ideal time to plant. Cooler temperatures and increased soil moisture allow plants to establish stronger root systems before the stress of summer heat. Native plants, in particular, thrive when planted in the fall, requiring less water and maintenance and supporting local wildlife!

All proceeds from the sale will support the Extension Master Gardener Volunteers’ ongoing efforts to promote sustainable gardening practices in our community.

Payments can be made by cash or check. Don’t miss this chance to find the perfect plants for your fall garden while supporting a great cause!
