Just-In-Time Learning Session – Dr. Mark Alley – OTC Livestock Antibiotics
In 6 weeks farmers will be unable to just pick up antibiotics at their local feed store. The FDA will require farmers to have a prescription when purchasing antibiotics. To learn the details of this new rule, NC State Extension will host a virtual information session. We have invited Dr. Mark Alley, Managing Veterinarian at Zoetis Inc., to share the details of this new rule. This new FDA rule has been years in the making, but it is now here. Learn how this will affect your farm and what you need to do.

This just-in-time learning session will be Monday, May 22 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. Participants are welcome to join individually, with friends, or as a County Cattlemen’s Association. For questions contact John Cothren (336-651-7330) or Seth Nagy (828-757-1290), the hosts of this event.
Register Online with Eventbrite.
