Happy New Year, time to re-enroll in Caldwell County 4-H!

4-H Online re-enrollment is happening now! All members (youth and volunteers) must re-enroll to participate in 4-H activities. You can re-enroll or enroll for the first time by going to v2.4honline.com!

With the new year a lot of very exciting things are happening in Caldwell County 4-H! First, project record books are due to the Caldwell County Office on Jan 31st. A 4-H project record book is a cumulative record of what each 4-H’er has accomplished throughout the past year in 4-H. There are many different categories ranging from animal science to electricity! 4-H’ers who turn in project record books are rewarded for their hard work with Clover Cash thanks to our awesome partnership with United Way. Clovercash is a type of currency that can only be used on 4-H activities.

Another way we will be celebrating our Caldwell County 4-H’ers is at our annual Achievement Night on February 23rd. This is a night where we recognize all the amazing things that our 4-H’ers have done in the last year, from state 4-H competitions to winning livestock shows at the NC State Fair, we have a lot to celebrate! We are so proud of all of our 4-H’ers accomplishments and look forward to sharing a more comprehensive list with the public in the near future!

A fun event for teens is coming up called Winter Fest. This event will be held in Haywood County on February 24th and will consist of snow tubing and fun workshops! If this sounds like something you or your child would be interested in please reach out to Caldwell County 4-H Agent Gabby Whorley at glwhorle@ncsu.edu or call (828)757-1258.
