Collapse ▲Caldwell County 4-H has lots to Celebrate this year! On Friday, February 21st, Caldwell County 4-H members, leaders, and supporters will gather to celebrate an outstanding year of achievements. Eight clubs were recognized for their dedication to education, service, and leadership.
Club Highlights:
- Cooking Club volunteered at the Junior Fair Board Concessions Stand and won 1st place for their Retro Diner display at the Country Fair.
- Appalachian Aces had 12 members compete in shooting sports, with 10 qualifying for the NC State competition. Lawson Baker placed 1st in recurve archery.
- Circuit Breakers earned 3rd place at the Game of Drones competition and in the County Fair Booth contest.
- Livestock Club excelled at livestock shows, supported hurricane relief efforts, and helped organize the Whoville Christmas Classic fundraiser.
- Saddle Club attended the West District Horsemanship Clinic, competed in horse shows, and led summer camps.
- Cloverbuds explored diverse topics under their new leader, Megan Phillips.
- Junior Historical Dance Troupe performed English-style dances at Hart Square.
- Fiber Arts Club learned new sewing skills and donated 50 handmade dog bandanas to the local animal shelter.
Additionally, Caldwell County 4-H will Recognize club officers, award-winning project records, and outstanding presentations. Special honors will be given to our graduating seniors, Katherine Taylor and Peyton Denning for their contributions to Caldwell County 4-H over their many years of participation.

Caldwell County 4-H will also announce the launch of a new homeschool club, starting March 13. Special thanks will be given to the United Way, the Caldwell County Fair Board, volunteers, and families for their support.
The event will wrap up with a look back at 100 years of Caldwell County 4-H, celebrating its legacy of education, leadership, and community service. We are excited to continue the rich legacy and continue “to make the best better”.
